This rare material is not a wood species in its own right, but is created from oak wood. This preserves the wood in a natural and durable way. The trunks, which are only rarely found, make this material a real rarity. The colour of the wood varies between brown, dark brown and black-brown.

In the processing for our wet shaving accessories, it shows its best qualities: the surface is corrosion-resistant, particularly durable and has a beautiful, seductive sheen.

With the high-quality synthetic fibres we offer a synthetically produced top quality whose material properties are analogous to those of the precious Silvertip Dachszupf natural hair. Most users even believe that this quality offers even better wearing properties than natural hair.

"Silvertip Fibre® is very soft at the fine ends, but somewhat more stable than natural hair in the middle section. These properties result in a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin when lathering without having to do without the desired firmness of the hair when lathering. In daily use, the fibres, which are also processed manually, are less sensitive than natural hair, as they dry more quickly and are resistant to soaps and shaving creams.

The all-vegan fibre is also somewhat easier to use than natural hair, as it forms a particularly creamy and lush lather with only a small amount of soap or shaving cream, making it very economical to use.

Gillette®'s latest shaving system includes five stacked blades, plus a further blade for precise contour cutting. This design provides a very close, smooth shave. The easy and safe handling is ideal even for beginners. The blades are available in shops worldwide.
