A deceptively simple recipe, but I assure you it's an epic and heady mix of spiced rum, myrrh, *spikenard, Jerusalem pine, a hint of lavender and a dash of cinnamon. It is by no means a true bay rum, but it certainly shares some of its DNA. *Nard was used not only for its unique aroma, but also for its slight cooling effect.
