Truefitt's first citrus fragrances were originally formulated in the 1870s and quickly became favorites of Queen Victoria, as well as the gentlemen and ladies of her court. The Imperial Bouquet was blended specifically for Queen Victoria by the Truefitt perfumers in 1876 to celebrate her coronation as Empress of India. It was a floral fougere with spicy and exotic top notes of citrus and orange blossom from which the current West Indian Limes fragrance evolved. A refreshing, effervescent and tasty fragrance, in which the lively top notes of exotic lime and bergamot combine with a heart of lilac, lavender and rose, and a background of orange blossom.
Presented in a beautifully engraved traditional bottle.
